Bhondor : The Magnificent Otter [Gaganendranath Thakur's Bhodor Bahadur]
When his son is kidnapped by a ferocious two-headed demon, Bhondor, the magnificent otter, must embark on an adventure of a lifetime to save him. With him are the wise hare Buddhimanto, his long-time human neighbour whose age is magically restored, and Tiye sahib, the parrot station-master.
Talking animals, mad grandfather-clocks, flying platforms, demons, and a magical staff all create magic and mayhem in this delightful new translation of Gaganendranath Thakur's classic children's story.
